Guy Andali was born in Italy and moved with his family to Canada when he was only two years old. At that time, who would ever have imagined that one day this little guy would own a store like Precision Power Sports, dedicated to motorized sports vehicles?
Years later Guy started his own small business repairing motorcycles for friends and family in his father’s single-car garage. That was in 1980 when heavy metal music was seen as rebellious and diabolical.
The business then took off, and Guy’s father had no choice but to kick him out of his garage! He didn’t abandon his son, however, and decided to rent a larger two-car garage for him on Confederation Street in Sarnia, Ontario, at a former cabinetmaker’s workshop so that Guy could continue his business venture.
Guy worked for a while as a flight engineer but then left the aviation industry to concentrate mainly on motorcycles. In 1983, BRP approached him to become a snowmobile dealer. He accepted this challenge and started growing a business selling Ski-Doo snowmobiles on Confederation Street. This would later become Precision Power Sports.
By 1995 another upgrade was needed to better serve the Sarnia and Lambton County community. This was when the company acquired a much larger building on London Line, where it still operates today.
Guy has been involved in many snowmobile and watercraft sports, such as Sea-Doo racing where he won two Canadian National Championship titles. “Business grew fast on its own because of the quality of BRP products,” says Guy Andali.
Within the space of a ten-year period in Sarnia-Lambton, Precision Power Sports had captured 80% of market share in its sector.
Today, with over four decades as a local dealership, 14 employees selling and servicing brands such as BRP and others, we are happy to continue our legacy. We provide Sarnia-Lambton and the surrounding communities with sales, parts and service that are second to none.
